Teaching
I am available to teach anywhere in the US and Canada. Plans are under way for England in 07 or 08. Seminars range from 2 days to 5. What ever works best for your club. I generally teach from rough outs of my originals. This helps students that are just beginning to carve faces. If a student has a certain piece in mind to do contact me and I will create a rough out for them. For an advanced 5 day class we can start from a solid block. With the 5 day classes I provide clay to help understand facial features before starting on wood. I stress the importance of Pi Proportions as they are found in nature and have been used by artist for century's to create a pleasing face. Students may use Power or hand tools. Power tools need to have a dust collector. I want the student to learn why features are placed as they are more than cut here and here. Email me for pricing scale.

> I enjoy the challenge of creating a sculpture specifically designed for your home or business. I like to have pictures of where the sculpture is going to be place and of art work you want the piece to accentuate. Commissions are broke down into 3 parts unless an agreement is made otherwise draft proposal ( drawings approved, size, wood type or bronze) I/3 payment at start, sculpture is started pictures will be made available so you can see your sculpture as it is created 1/3 payment, final payment is on delivery
